I’m was so happy with the look of this Christmas tree with mixed metals, I decided to try a similar look on our tree in the family room. Please note that this post contains affiliate links. Sweet Winston stayed with me the entire time, enjoying the Christmas music and the glow of the trees. I finished the look with a small faux pine tree and a trio of bottle brush trees. I added to copper lanterns to this table as well as a lush pine garland over the vintage mirror. I also love the look of rose gold and silver ornaments spilling out of a vintage suitcase on the table next to the trees. In addition to putting mixed metal ornaments on the tree, I also filled one of my favorite dough bowls with fresh pine greenery and extra platinum ornaments. I love the look of mixed metals on this Christmas tree and the soft glow they add to the room. I finished the look with a thin green leaf garland, for a little pop of color and some sprigs of champagne, glittered pine branches. See How These Ornaments Look on a Green Christmas Tree HERE. The biggest change was that I added some platinum, champagne and silver ornaments to the blush and rose gold. There were virtually the same ornaments I had used two years earlier on a green Christmas tree and I was amazed at how different they looked on a flocked tree. Once I had the ribbon in place, I began adding the ornaments.

See How To Put Ribbon On A Christmas Tree HERE. I also added some blush pink satin ribbon throughout to bring in a bit mere of the rose gold color I love so much on a Christmas tree. I started with a 2.5″ wide wired linen ribbon that had a darker glittered center stripe. Once I got started with the mixed metal theme on the 9′ tree, I knew it would not take away from the look of the trio but rather make it even more beautiful. I LOVE how this looks, and in fact, considered not decorating any of these trees because they looked so pretty as a little trio (or is it “tree-o”😂). Rather than use a single flocked tree in my living room, I decided to add two additional smaller flocked trees to create a little “tree forest” in the corner. I also did something else a bit unusual this year. I was torn between all of the beautiful metallics, so I decided to try creating a Christmas tree with mixed metals to see how it looked, and guess what!? It looks amazing!! The inspiration for this tree came when I opened my holiday decorating boxes and couldn’t decide on a color theme for this year. Be sure to scroll down to the end of the post to see everything!
